The article gives an idea of the complexity of the problem faced by the student of Belarusian history during the first two decades of the 20th century. The task is not made easier by the absence of a reliable bibliographical guide. What follows is not intended to be such a guide, but merely a description of some of the relevant material available in the Francis Skaryna Belarusian Library in London.
